How to Sign Up for the CalPERS Email Newsletter

We want to ensure you don’t miss important CalPERS news and resources. The CalPERS Member News email is a monthly newsletter delivered straight to your inbox.

Inside an issue of Member News, you can find:

How to Sign Up

For access to the Member News email newsletter, sign up for a myCalPERS account. It’s important to have a myCalPERS account either way. Registering takes care of two tasks in one!

Registering for myCalPERS requires an email address. Make sure your email is current and spelled correctly.

That’s it! Once your email address is registered with myCalPERS, you’ll receive the next Member News email newsletter. We typically send the newsletter the first Tuesday of every month.

How to Check or Update Your Email Address

If you already have a myCalPERS account, check that your contact information is correct and up to date, including your email address.

  • Log in to myCalPERS.
  • Select My Account in the top navigation, then Contact Information.
  • Under Email, make sure we have your correct email address.

If You’re Not Receiving the Email Newsletter

If you’ve already confirmed your email address in myCalPERS but aren’t receiving the Member News email, check your spam folder or other subfolders. Then add CalPERS to your address book.
