Public employees make a difference for California. The CalPERS Spotlight on Excellence Award is our opportunity to celebrate them.
Presented as part of the annual CalPERS Educational Forum, the Spotlight on Excellence Award shines a light on outstanding public employees serving with CalPERS employers.
We need your help finding those everyday heroes who make a big impact. This peer-nominated award recognizes a public agency, program, or employee who has:
- Exhibited the spirit of what it means to be of service to the public
- Served as a model other agencies or employees can follow
- A proven track record of success in building up their community
Nominations Now Open
To nominate someone, simply submit the online form by Friday, July 31, at 5:00 p.m. Nominees must represent a CalPERS contracting agency.
In addition to being honored in person at the Educational Forum, the recipient will have their story shared through CalPERS news and social media channels.
