We support ongoing career development by hosting Career Development Day annually for our team members. We also offer various career service programs and outreach throughout the year.

We support the career growth of our team members. We recently hosted Career Development Day, an inclusive event for all CalPERS team members to actively invest in their professional and personal goals. Attendees participated in a speed networking event, wellness session, and CalPERS Career Fair. They learned about open positions and got facetime with leaders from multiple divisions within our organization.

Our Information Technology Services Branch recently hosted a Lunar New Year celebration, honoring the occasion and the diversity of our organization. During lunch, team members enjoyed the cultural richness and heritage of this event with a lion and dragon dance, paper cutting, calligraphy, and games.

Before the holidays, CalPERS team members spread c

Before the holidays, CalPERS team members spread cheer through the Socks for Seniors program. This annual donation drive provides gift bags filled with socks, toiletries, and a hand-written holiday card to the residents of a retirement community in Sacramento. The CalPERS Chorus performed holiday favorites, while the residents enjoyed their lunch. The celebration ended with everyone singing carols and team members delivering gift bags and warm wishes for the season.
