CalPERS is full of talented individuals, several of whom lent their vocal gifts for a public performance this week at our State Capitol – filling the halls in and around the rotunda with holiday cheer!

This annual get-together is in conjunction with the California Capitol Museum’s Holiday Music Program, which is free to sign up for and which culminates in end-of-year sing-alongs with a variety of organizations and agencies in the Sacramento area.

Many thanks to our in-house volunteers who showed up and sang their hearts out, and to the @CalSTRS chorus members who joined us for a song at the end! ❤️

CalPERS is honored to announce that CEO Marcie Fro

CalPERS is honored to announce that CEO Marcie Frost has received a Crystal Globe Award from CORPaTH – an advocacy group dedicated to protecting, promoting, and perpetuating defined-benefit pensions across the country.

Marcie was inspired early in life to help others experience dignity in their retired years. Through her CalPERS leadership, she now works to protect the financial security of 2.3 million pension plan members in retirement.

CORPaTH Director of Trustee Engagement RoCORPaTH Director of Trustee Engagement Ron Lind presented the award to Marcie last week at a ceremony, alongside CORPaTH Managing Director Ellen Anreder.
