Whether you’re dealing with stress and anxiety, or seeking therapy options, each plan provides tailored resources to help promote your well-being. Here are some highlights of what’s available.
Anthem Blue Cross
With Anthem Blue Cross, you can access therapy through the Sydney Health app, or virtual visits via LiveHealth Online for counseling on stress, depression, and more.
Blue Shield of California
With Blue Shield of California, you can engage with digital health coaching through the Wellvolution platform to reduce stress and manage anxiety. Behavioral health services include therapy, medication management, and substance use support.
Health Net
As a Health Net member, behavioral health care is available through the Managed Health Network (MHN), providing in-person or telehealth therapy and stress management tools via the Unwinding program.
Kaiser Permanente
Kaiser Permanente members can use digital self-care apps like Calm and Headspace for mindfulness, meditation, and stress reduction, with access to individual and group therapy.
PERS Gold and Platinum
Beginning January 1, 2025, Blue Shield of California will administer CalPERS preferred provider organization (PPO) plans. CalPERS is partnering with Blue Shield and Included Health to provide personalized behavioral health services for PERS Gold and PERS Platinum members. These services include a range of in-person and virtual care options. Use Included Health to find in-network providers, schedule virtual visits, or receive concierge assistance in finding the right care.
Sharp Health Plan
Sharp Health Plan members can access online mental health resources, the NeuroFlow app, and video therapy visits through Magellan Healthcare.
UnitedHealthcare
With UnitedHealthcare, you have access to the Calm Health app, which offers self-paced digital learning for mental health management. Members can also access virtual visits for therapy and psychiatric care.
Western Health Advantage
Western Health Advantage partners with Optum Behavioral Health, offering self-care tools, meditation resources, and access to a network of mental health providers.
