This month the CalPERS Board will meet in-person off-site at Portola Hotel & Spa in Monterey, California, Monday, July 17, through Wednesday, July 19.
Board meetings are open to the public and comments are welcome. You can submit comments by calling (800) 259-4105. You can also watch our live webcast on the CalPERS website.

Full agendas are posted on our website, but here is a brief overview of the items the board will hear this month:
Monday’s Meeting
The Sustainable Investing Office will present the CalPERS Sustainable Investments 2030 Strategy (PDF) to the board. They’ll share the five key objectives, how the new strategy will help reach those objectives, and the upcoming steps to assess and report the strategy’s progress later in the year.
Marlene Timberlake D’Adamo, CalPERS’ chief diversity, equity, and inclusion officer, will drive a discussion alongside investment industry partners about diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) innovation in the investment industry (PDF). Industry partners will present their DEI practices, policies, and results to the board.
Tuesday’s Meeting
The Board of Administration will receive the 2024 health premiums (PDF) for the CalPERS Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) and Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) plans to approve. They will also receive the 2024 State Annuitant Contribution amounts and Association plan premiums (PDF) to review.
Dr. Julia Logan and Dr. Lisa Albers will provide the Board of Administration with a presentation that describes an overview of CalPERS’ approach to Population Health Management (PDF) and will include an overview of our CalPERS members as well as an update on behavioral health opportunities and challenges.
Wednesday’s Meeting
The board will receive the summary of findings (PDF) for the Annual Stakeholder Perception Survey (PDF), which monitors and assesses CalPERS’ reputation with key stakeholder segments to help support and implement the Strategic Plan goals and initiatives for the organization.
